60/40 Rescue Veteran & First Responder
Mortgage Initiative for veterans

THOSE WHO SERVE

Those who serve our Nation and communities deserve stability, dignity, and protection—especially during times of financial hardship. Veterans, First Responders, and their families have carried extraordinary responsibility in service to others.

The 60/40 Rescue Veteran & First Responder Mortgage Initiative exists to honor that service by proposing a responsible, ethical, and transparent housing protection framework focused exclusively on primary residences.

This Initiative is a proposed state-level housing protection model, designed exclusively for Veterans, First Responders, and their households. Its sole purpose is to help protect primary homes during periods of economic stress while preserving long-term housing stability.

At this time, the Initiative has not been adopted and remains under state evaluation and consideration. Nothing presented on this website constitutes an application, approval, financial product, or legal obligation of any kind.

Purpose and Intent

If approved and adopted by the State, the Initiative is designed to:

  • Promote housing stability through a structured, zero-interest stabilization framework
  • Keep monthly housing obligations within responsible affordability limits
  • Prevent foreclosure and involuntary displacement
  • Protect elderly Veterans, surviving spouses, and eligible heirs
  • Reduce long-term social and economic costs associated with housing instability
  • Strengthen families, neighborhoods, and local communities

The focus is stability—not expansion, protection—not speculation, and responsibility—not profit.

What This Initiative Is

  • A housing protection proposal
  • Focused solely on primary residences
  • Designed exclusively for Veterans and First Responders
  • Structured to prevent foreclosure and displacement
  • Grounded in ethical and fiscally responsible principles

What This Initiative Is Not

  • Not a loan application
  • Not a refinancing offer
  • Not a replacement for VA or other government benefits
  • Not a for-profit program
  • Not a requirement or obligation of any kind

Community Support and Public Interest

Veterans, First Responders, and members of the public may choose to express voluntary community support for state consideration of this Initiative.

Expressing support:

  • Does not enroll anyone in any program
  • Creates no legal or financial obligation
  • Does not affect credit, benefits, or existing mortgages
  • Serves solely to demonstrate public interest and community support

These expressions help State leaders better understand the real housing challenges faced by those who have served.

Important Notice

Only if the State formally approves and adopts this Initiative would any future participation be considered—and even then, participation would remain entirely voluntary, subject to eligibility review, and governed by applicable law.

Until such time, this website exists solely for informational and transparency purposes.

With Honor and Respect,
This Initiative is presented in the spirit of service, gratitude, responsibility, and commitment to those who have protected our communities and our Nation.
